  1. The general awareness section asks questions based on current affairs related to international and national events and news. It also covers questions based on general knowledge. Hence, knowledge of geography, history, civics, polity, budget, economy, Indian constitution, etc. is important. Go through the related NCERTs, Yearbooks, Newspapers and magazines to fetch good marks. Give 1-2 hours for preparation and daily revision is a must. Also, knowledge on countries, currencies and capitals, Books and Authors, Awards and Honours, etc. should be at fingertips.
  2. The basics of Science i.e, biology, chemistry and physics must be well versed. Reading 10th standard NCERT Science books will be enough for preparing. Just gain clarity on basic concepts, by heart the important formulae, reactions, equations, and other details.
  3. Common sense, concepts clarity and sufficient practice can help ace the Reasoning section easily. Pick easy topics first such as blood relation, alphabet and number series, classification, distance and directions, etc. understand the steps involved and the underlying theory to solve questions. More practice for more expertise will help solve more questions with more accuracy.
  4. Class 10th Mathematics would suffice for the quantitative aptitude section. Gain clarity on basic concepts and learn all the formulae. Start with easy topics and then move to the difficult once. Don’t directly jump onto the shortcut tricks to solve the questions. Use logic and analytics to solve the questions, shortcuts will be learnt on its own.
