Payday is here at last and unlike other months, this month is all about splurging on those all important loved ones. I know, it breaks my heart a little bit too that those shoes from Zara have to wait until next month, or some new Oakley sunglasses for dreaming about the summer hols, but at least we can revel in their happiness on Christmas Day when we hand them their presents! To help out with that gruelling shopping we all dislike this time of year, i’ll be rounding up the best gifts available to treat your friends and family stress-free – starting with the very best of beauty.
L’Occitane aways have an incredible offering for every gifting occasion, but Christmas is definitely the time that they win. They have so many amazing Gifts For Her, as well as a couple for men thrown in there too if your ‘He’ is a bit of a skincare enthusiast. Ranging from cleansers, creams and bath goodies to diffusers, there’s a gift for every ‘Her’ in your life at L’Occitane this season at various price tags, ranging from £10-£200 (depends who you love more, I guess!). I love a well-rounded gift set and at Christmas, it’s the perfect excuse to splurge on those luxurious brands that maybe you wouldn’t usually – or those you’ve seen your favourite bloggers using and have always wanted to to try and for me, L’Occitane has always been one or the other. I mean, is there really a better gift to get someone than something that will make them feel amazing? Winter is all about pamper essentials, after all. Bath sets are such a typical gift to purchase someone on their birthday or at Christmas, so going that extra mile with such gorgeous packaging and products is essential if you’re going to opt for that route.
Beauty doesn’t stop at skincare and bath treats – brands have been upping their game lately with their Christmas offerings and i’ve been like a kid in a candy store watching the releases of them go by (have you been spotting the incredible packaging lately from all of your favourite brands??). A huge brand favourite of mine all year round is NUXE, so much so I even dragged my mum into the addiction with me and we now spend our time finding it in every department store we enter – sorry, Dad. Anyone who loves skincare will love NUXE, take it from someone who knows (my overflowing skincare storage is shameful…). Their soft but heavy moisturisers are so divine, no one could resist. Next is Benefit’s latest brow launch which has taken the beauty world by storm. I myself am I huge fan of the new Goof Proof Brow Pencil – another i’ve been dragging relatives down with me! This set will be a trusty win with anyone who loves their make up and Benefit Cosmetics (and let’s face it, who doesn’t?).
Lastly, NYX have absolutely taken over my make up bag this year, there was NO way I was leaving them out here, especially with this insane Lipstick Vault including each of their Liquid Suede shades (which if you have been living under a rock are their highly Instagrammed matte liquid lipsticks that beauty bloggers have been snapping up for months now). Mother, if you’re reading this – I want that.
