Every so often, sprucing up your home is necessary. Whether it’s due to a change in seasons, style or items wearing out, this is something you can achieve in as much or as little time as you’d like. If you’re looking to make some changes but only have a little time to do it, keep on reading. Here are some quick ways you can refresh the look and feel of your space, while still having time left for everything else on your agenda.

Refresh Your Home With Simple Updates

One of the easiest ways to give your rooms a new look is to bring in new colors, textures and decor. Don’t be afraid to go a little out of your comfort zone because that’s when you might find out more about what style you’re truly drawn to.

When you’re decorating a space, starting from the floor up is a great way to make sure your room maintains a cohesive feel. Eco rugs are a great way to accomplish this, and different colors and textures will have a huge impact on the look and feel of the room.

Once you’ve set the tone for the room, try adding accents such as throw pillows and blankets. Adding textured storage, such as baskets or fabric bins, is a great way to stay organized while still tying your decor together.

    Work With What You Have

When was the last time you simply moved your furniture around, maybe swapping different pieces from room to room? While this won’t always work based on available space alone, it can be a great way to create a new look while also finding new ways to use what you already have. Having a plan before you begin is essential. This will keep you organized (and sane) throughout the process.
