    1. Merida

    Merida is a lively and vibrant capital of the Mexican state. It is a great place to live and visit. This place is close to Mayan ruins. It has colonial architecture, a steamy climate, and the Caribbean atmosphere.

    This city has many buildings made of white stones. There are no beaches in the city, but there are many beaches within an hour’s drive or less. It is becoming one of the top destinations in Mexico to live in. You can buy a house of 1,600.14 sq ft with 2 to 3 bedrooms at an average price of $200,000.

    1. Cancun

    Cancun is a beautiful Mexican city known for mesmerizing beaches, numerous resorts, and amazing nightlife. This city is composed of 2 district areas, the traditional downtown area, and a long beachfront strip of high-rise hotels and nightlife area.

    To buy a 1,600 sq ft home, you need to spend about $250,000. The real estate near the beach can run up to 50% higher.

    1. Los Cabos

    Los Cabos is more expensive than other Mexican resort areas. It is a cooler and drier place, similar to the amazing weather in southern California. There are many luxury restaurants, shops and accomodations on which you can spend hundreds of dollars.

    1. San Miguel de Allende

    It is a magical town in Mexico’s central state of Guanajuato. This town is famous for well-preserved Spanish and Colonial architecture. There are amazing buildings, shopping centers, the art market, and so much more.

    Anyone can fall in love with this magical town, and tourists come to visit this place again and again. This town is not only rich in Mexican culture, but it also attracts foreign retirees, artists, and writers.

    1. Mexico City

    Mexico City is the densely populated capital of Mexico. Mexico City has become a popular destination among tourists. This city is the center of anthropological history and has amazing art.  There is so much to explore in this city. The nightlife is also amazing. Owning a property is perfectly legal in Mexico City.

    Mexico City is the most expensive place to buy residential property in Mexico. Acquiring a decent property costs more than 4 million Mexican pesos per residential unit. You can buy a beautiful house of 4-bedrooms and two bathrooms, 1,600.9 sq ft at an average price of $500,000.
