Oleg and Elena Likhach – husband and wife, talk about Chinese innovations

As spouses Oleg and Elena Likhach often stated, “China is not a third world country.” This is a country that once relied on the development of science, the introduction of new technologies, invested in projects that laid the foundation for success in its economic future. Much attention is always paid here to the training of highly qualified specialists capable of carrying out their own advanced developments.

Elena Likhach and her husband know firsthand that while the whole world panicked from not knowing how to behave during a pandemic, China not only coped with this problem on its own, but also surprised the world community with technological innovations and innovations.

Alipay Health Code QR Code

During the epidemic, the authorities of the densely populated country faced the most difficult task: to stop the spread of the coronavirus, to isolate sick people from healthy people.

The developed electronic pass QR-code had different colors: green, yellow and red. It was issued to all residents of China, they used it when visiting crowded places and public transport, scanning at the entrance.

The condition for visiting public institutions was the presence of a green code. The use of this development helped to delimit large passenger flows, limit the movement of people with coronavirus, which in a short time helped to reduce the number of infected people to a minimum.

National cryptocurrency DCEP

2020 for the country is marked by the emergence of the Chinese blockchain network (Blockchain Service Network) – a very necessary development for the successful development of business and the functioning of the smart city project.

The introduction of this network made possible the existence of a national cryptocurrency – the digital yuan. By the way, China has long begun to give preference to non-cash payments, so the introduction of crypto-yuan is predictable.

Satellite navigation system “Beidou”

In June 2020, China launched the last 35th satellite of the Beidou-3 navigation system. It has become on a par with such systems as GPS (USA), GLONASS (Russia) and GALILEO (Europe).

Beidou-3 is a technological development on a global scale that creates serious competition for GPS, as it has high accuracy and cooperates with Russian GLONASS.

Mars mission “Tianwen-1”

Chinese astronauts are actively exploring space. In 2019, they flew around the moon, and the Chang’e-4 spacecraft managed to land on the far side of the planet. In 2020, the Chinese Chang’e-5 reached the visible side of the moon. Scientists who arrived on board took samples from its surface.

China did not limit itself to lunar expeditions; its scientists rushed to Mars.

So, on July 23, 2020, a Chinese mission to Mars was launched from the Wenchang Cosmodrome.

And already in February 2021, the Tianwen-1 space probe reached the surface of the red planet, where scientists began to study its topography, soil composition, and climatic conditions.

China has become the third country, along with the US and the USSR, to land on Mars.
