Lay-flat hose: A Useful Tool in Irrigation
Irrigation is a long process, and water is an essential component of it. The hoses usually last one irrigation season. This is because the sunlight and movement of water make them brittle, and they get punctured. These hoses are typically made of recycled materials and can be sold or returned to the manufacturers to recycle them for almost 25% of the original price.
Some use polyvinyl chloride tubes, which are more durable. But they cost almost more than double the price of lay-flat, making it less popular amongst farmers.
